Family

About my Family

I have a very big extended family. My mom's parents were each children of 9 and my dad's parents were children of 7 and 5. My extended family lives all over the world which is the reason my family travels often. I am the youngest child in my immidiate family. I have a sister and a brother, my sister is 17 years old and attends Murro high school. My brother is 18 years old, and he goes to Binghamton University. I live with both my parents and my sister currently, but my sister is in her senior year of highschool so in a year it will be just me :(

First Cousins

I am really close with almost all my first cousins on both mom's and dad's side. On my dad's side, all my first cousins are much older than me in there 20's or 30's. On my mom's side I have 4 first cousins that are younger than me, and 3 that are older also in their 20's and 30's. I would say that im closest with my cousin Jaden who is 13 years old and currently lives in San Diego. He used to live in New Jersey and moved about 3 years ago, but when we were youger we would see eachother at least once or twice every 2 weeks. He would sleep over my house for a couple of days at a time, and I would do the same at his house. I visit him in San Diego usually once a year for 2 weeks and sometimes he comes here to NY.

Family Get Togethers

I am Jewish and spend almost all the Jewish holidays with my family. On my dad's side, his brother live in Florida, his sister lives in Michigan, and his other brother lives in New Jersey. We usually do a family get to gether with my dads side on Rosh Hashana evey year and during the summer, every other summer we would go to Isreal to visit both of my grandmothers. We alternate who we go to, so one year we would gp to my aunt in Michigan, and the next they would come to NY, and then the next we would go to Florida, so on and so forth. I really love these family get togethers because they are so fun and a great way to see eachother all together and catch up! On my mom's side we usually get together during hanukkah because one of my uncles lives in Manhattan, my other uncle lives in San Diego, and my aunt lives in New Jersey. Usually my uncle would come from San Diego and my grandma would come from Israel, and we would celebrate at my aunts house in New Jersey. Ocasionally we would also to a get together during passover with my mom's side at my house in NY. My mom's side get togethers arent as often and when they do happen they dont last that long unless we all go to San Diego, but they are still so fun and amazing!
